Jas Jas Jas does everything it can to buck Cheadle's bland trend. Rammed with eccentric decor including plastic squirrels and garish reliefs, this Lebanese food specialist and deli is also a restaurant and travel agency.

Lebanese by birth, Sleiman cooks traditional and eastern Mediterranean dishes, while Jilly manages the public. Food leans towards mixed mezze platters and house specialities include poached salmon in the tenderest dill sauce, courgette and pepper crammed with spiced lamb and excellent taboulleh - freshly chopped flat leaf parsley, oil, diced tomatoes and garlic, hand-mixed to create the perfect complement to meat or fish.

More unusual dishes include okra and a salad of tomatoes, lemon, onions and cucumber marinated with Lebanese bread.
