Cottons classics don't disappoint: island meze includes excellent saltfish fritters and spikily seasoned Creole seafood. Substantial mains bring together the homely and the modern, usually with success.

Mixed grilled jerked fish has vast slabs of parrotfish, red snapper and jackfish slicked with seasoning. The famed goat curry is less of an event, arriving with fatty lumps of meat. Those not tickled by the sticky cocktails will find solace in the impressive 150-strong rum collection.

Price per head, £20
