Three more hotel dining rooms.

St Tudno North Parade, Llandudno, 01492 874411

Head past the cosy bar and into an airy, Italian-style dining room. Superb food (recent delights include ballottine of quail with garlic froth and roast saddle of venison with root vegetables), friendly service.
Mrs Meryl Spicer
Pwllheli, Gwynedd

Le Manoir aux Quat' Saisons, Church Road, Great Milton, Oxfordshire, 01844 278881

Totally seasonal, modern French cooking that beats anything you'll get down in the smoke, and with a medieval manor house setting to match. Who could want more?
Emma Janes
Whitstable, Kent

Hotel Continental, 28 Marine Parade, Dovercourt, Essex, 01255 551298

With a bright yellow frontage and reception area that's seen better days, it doesn't seem all that inviting, but head for the new extension and you'll discover a fantastic menu, magnificent presentation and friendly staff.
Angela Arnold
Shotley Gate, Suffolk
